Due to a ruling by the the Information Commissioner's Office on 5 April 2011 the span of the project has been adjusted to comply with the 100 year closure rule of documents that contain personal identifiable information.
The academic aspect of the project is now in the final phase, that of writing up the findings of log books examined to date. We are not yet in the repository stage.
Why not volunteer to be a project researcher?
If you have an interest in local or family history you could be a real asset to the project. The longer term aspect of the project is to continue to make transcription of school log books available to the wider population of those persons involved in research in social history or the history of education.
